I inherited an OttLite Model GX7825 lamp which is missing the 13W (GX23) PL-S bulb. Before buying a bulb, I confirmed that the switch works but I don't have voltage at the bulb contacts. It has a circuit board without any obvious defects. What is the purpose of the circuit board and what voltage should be present at the bulb contacts?

model GX7825, 120V 60Hz 13W. That may not be at the pins if there's a transformer. Transformer may state the output.

12V?

There is something on the circuit board that looks like it could be a transformer, but is about the size of a 1/2" cube. I get zero voltage at the bulb contacts.

Call our Customer Service Desk at 1-800-842-8848

Give them a shout, who knows maybe they'll send you a circuit board, probably what you need.
