It's not what 'I' want......you can use the shower 10 minutes after you finish if you like.

Water is the vehicle in latex paint.....water is what comes out of your shower, and usually produces steam.....especially in winter, making the humidity quite high. 2+2=

Latex paint generally dries to touch in a couple hours.....it doesn't fully cure (acrylic and pigment forming solid film) for 30 days.

IF you have no alternative, use it in a couple days, but I would have the door open and a fan feeding in air. It doesn't take much to scrape off latex paint within the first few days.

Dang, I cant go without a shower for a day...cant expect the guy to go a week and then there are the other family members wink

If I remember the last time I painted ours, I used a paint for bathrooms, and painted as early in morning as I could...showered late but as said, doors open, vent fan going, window open, etc...

also did it when others were not around...


more a summer time project I think..

of course sounds like Yardo is in similar boat as we are, only one bathroom with one bath/shower
