Seems like cooking times are about the same but it sounds underpowered. Quite sure this isn’t the case since it is the only draw on a 30 amp supply. I assume the different sound is a result of the unclean generator power. Other than the strange sound, will the generator power supply damage the microwave? Thanks.

Hi,

I have no idea....most ( all? ) that I have ever seen running on a generator is because of a temporary need ( power outage )....so far I have not heard of any being damaged.
