I have a 1992 Dodge Grand Caravan and the other day, the speedometer AND the odometer stopped working. I'm assuming that it uses electronic sensors rather than a mechanical method to detect the speed?

I pulled the gauge cluster from the van, however I couldn't find anything "physically" wrong with it. Could it be a gauge cluster problem or a sensor problem?

Thanks!

Sounds like a vehicle speed sensor could be bad but I would have this diagnosed by a mechanic first before throwing parts at it. Hope this helps.
