I have been using Avira free antivirus for a couple of years and have really liked it however it has stopped working and would not reload as I think my PC is out of date as I am using Vista....so I have downloaded AVG and want try it ...what are your comments for those who have use this or are still using AVG....I guess I should delete the Avira download you think?

Yes, delete Avira

BUT!

Go to their website to see if you need their un-install tool. If you don't you'll have bit and pieces left all over in the dusty corners of your system. wink

I use AVG and have not issues.
Go into the settings and turn off as many of the popups as you can. You can't turn them all off on the free version.
