Removing....peeled it all off and of course got the "stuff" left behind

Found a "recipe" of 2 cups water, 2 cups white vinegar and 1/2 cup of lemon juice.

Spray and wait

then putty knife off

Dang if it works...

problem is, I have a hankering for salad now

I always found plain old water, and a green scrubbie did the best, fastest job. We used a garden sprayer to keep the paste wet, and the Scotch-Brite pad rinsed well to avoid the gooey build-up.

To avoid adhesion problems with the paint, let the wall dry, and use a wet finger to test for slippery, sticky paste left behind.

Same here, with the addition of a PaperTiger. The homemade brews never seemed to improve anything for me.

Well I hate wallpaper and stupid is as stupid does, we took the old wallpaper off years back and...yes, put new stuff up...

I dont have any paper tigers or crouching tigers, and in past used to just peel the stuff off, boil water and bruch the water on with a brush and scrape...

this idea was something we tried which worked Ok...

as you both said, key part is getting the sticky gunk off...
