I'm trying to fix up a friend's Toyota RAV4. 2006. The codes for it say to replace the fuel canister. I looked the cost up and it costs over 800 dollars. It needs to be inspected soon and I am probably grasping at straws but is there any way around this. Maybe replace a certain component in the canister? Any work around s appreciated.

Check AMAZON and EBAY .

RockAuto is out of stock. Never tried but I would bet they are a sealed unit.
It must get boring preaching to the choir.
