model# lgr7646jqo whirlpool dryer will not heat, is there a fuse that would prevent igniters from coming on and if so where is it located, how can one verify if igniter is bad.

It is not like a fuse/fuse but it is a thermal fuse.

It can be ohmed for continuity or power to it and no glowing = bad.
Inspect igniter for small burnt spot on dark gray or black part of igniter or check for 110 volts to igniter when dryer should be calling for heat.
