That's certainly what he was describing "like the world has never seen before".

So if Kim Jung Un fires those four missiles toward Guam, then what? (I don't think he will).

This thing has GOT TO ratchet down.

I agree or the CIA may shut him up.

They quieted Kennedy down.

"I agree or the CIA may shut him up".

Possibly one of the toughest guys on the planet to kill.
He would have been gone long ago if it wasn't so hard. They had a segment on N Korea this AM on CNN, it's about 100 times worse than I thought it was and I thought it was very, very bad.

People are kept completely in the dark and people watching and reporting on each other is commonplace. A college there is said to be more like a prison.

To make a comparison to killing Kennedy is light years away from killing this guy.

They just keep pushing each other and
ignoring China's advice to tone down the rhetoric.

Thr T unit is destabilizing..
threatening to invade Venezuela too.

Is the invasion of Venezuela supposed to be a distraction
and a way to scare Kim? What a bad idea.

It was stated that no one knew of a military option in Venezuela. One of the main problems I see with Trump is that he appears as if he is the decision maker as if he was running his own company.

With N Korea he made it much too personal as if it's between him and Kim, so when he gets disrespected it seems to taint his next response or worse yet the decision. He could avoid so much by saying "WE are taking this under advisement, the NSA is studying this now and we will decide on what actions will be taken............" but it seems like he wants everyone to see HE is charge, HE will decide what actions are taken.

This behavior makes you think of "I know more than the generals". Venezuela is a good example, why speak off the cuff and make a "military options" blunder?

"Our people are studying Venezuela very closely, there are several options..........."

He creates needless problems and then refuses to back off a statement once made, quite the contrary, he'll double down on it to show it wasn't a foolish statement.

Mattis, Tillerson and McMaster are all capable people, they should be relied on more. I see Al Haig here, "I'm in charge", trouble is Trump is in charge.

It's terrifying. I can't believe he's still in the (dumpy) WH. This is such crazy stuff. If only he weren't an egomaniac and many other things. Fire and fury? Geesh. So it's about Trump with no regard for America. Make us "great again"? Naw, his blubbering has the potential to kill massive numbers of people.

NK is probably incapable of reaching Guam or the US with any missile. The US knows it and that makes the tangerine's statements (fire and fury...locked and loaded) even more dumb.

Question: how is it he's still president?

Good end question, but I disagree on NK's ability to hit Guam and even us. That sick regime is working diligently. The arsehole, demonstrably, has no compassion for us, other nations. Look what he does to own people. This is real stuff. Give the arsehole 6 months. Prob has whip and chain on engineers.

I would not under-estimate this lunatic, or ours -
Lord have mercy on us.

Even those words evoke selfishness. Think of the tens of thousands killed there, Syria, afghanistan, Iraq.

FWIW you have him surrounded with AF and Navy and Army- at least 2, maybe 3, layers of countermeasures. A missile wouldn't go very far.

Let's say that's true, is the threat of fire and fury a good or bad move?

I' near the fence but on the side of "bad move" because he unnecessarily used a silver bullet and a yuge one at that.

"Let's say that's true, is the threat of fire and fury a good or bad move?"

We're an open society, all another country has to do is read the newspapers or watch TV. They know the fire and fury is an empty threat unless there was an actual attack by N Korea. So it just makes Trump look bad and not believable.
