I planted 40 pounds of "red potatoes", They are 8=12 tall. Some of them are "wilting" and appear to be "dying". They have been "sprayed" for insects!I KNOW that there are "moles" and "maybe "voles" in the yard "beside" my garden! Could THIS be "my problem" OR "something else?" What say you?

Find a spot where 2 or 3 plants are "dying".
Dig 1 up, look for chew marks.

Do you hill your tater with dirt?
Few years back, I hilled mine with straw and grass clippings.
Grew big taters, but most were consumed by ground squirrels.

HTH...good luck...notnew...

YES, with a "Farmall tractor". Nice "big hills", To many, to try to cover,by the way, we just had 7 inches of rain, BUT, I don't think THAT DID it, I'll try "digging a plant up" and look for the "chew marks"
