have a few of these in the house ---- they put holes in the hollow doors. I have taken them off but looking for something round that i can use to cover up the holes approx 1 inch around.

I've taken a 2"x2" piece of luan, put a slight bevel on the edge, stained/painted to match, and glued/pinned it in place.

if the doors are painted, I use a piece of mesh drywall tape and drywall mud..
two light coats will get it..
prime and paint..

door have a patteren on them so it needs to be something round so it looks good

After you patch the holes, move the door stops so they won't repeat the process. If the door opens against a wall, put the stop on the door near the edge where there is wood behind the panel and where it will hit the wall base molding. With the stop on the door, it will also be easier to vacuum around it.
