I temporarily have a rigid 10 inch heater duct, sealed and wrapped in mylar reflective bubble insulation going outside from the basement up to a second story bathroom. The refinance bank says I must enclose it before they will approve a refinance. Is it legal and up to code to run a section of duct outside to get from one story up past another? Thanks- Bruce
