Have an H2X swim spa and one of the intake grills is broken.

Could not locate online so I went to my local rip-off spa store and they stated that the inlets that I have are now banned and only option is to retrofit to new design due to some recent law.

I'm not even sure that can be done without a huge tear up. I'm looking for something I can retrofit, anybody have any ideas? Some kind of grill or PVC fitting?

This really shows the best of our goverment, take an item that may have caused a death, ban it, and have hundreds/thousand of older spas operation without covers because there are no resonable retrofits. Very unsafe condition.

Let me know what style the cover is, how many there are and the maker of the cover if you know.

That sounds like the inlets into the swim pump the covers that I am refering to are the 5" dia covers that cover the inlet lines into the spa pumps. I checked with my local spa retailer and they confirmed with H2X that they do not have a direct replacement for the grill/cover that you have to replace the entier fitting that has a cover that looks almost identical (but installs differently onto the fitting).

What I did find is a grill used for 6" flex drain pipe that I can cut down and drill the mounting hole. For $4 each I can replace the current grills with something that should look ok. I'll wait till end of season when we drain for winter.
