1989 F-150 XLT. I have been trying to locate a seat cover for my truck without success. It is a bench, solid back with fixed headrests. JC Whitney is the only place I can find that has one but there are 7 reviews; 5 say don't waste your money they are junk and 2 just got them. I know I could get custom but I am too cheap to to that. The other solution would be to install just the seat part of an adjustable head rest cover and forget the [matching] back.

Anyone with ideas where to look?

You might want to check into replacement covers. Could be cheaper than you think. If you diy the r&r on the old, it might work out.

And while your there(grin)...
...how is the foam?
...springs broke??
...the glides work well???

HTH..good luck...notnew....

I used your search term as well as repl.truck seat covers and came up with several new companies. I saw one company with one that might work so I went out to look at my fixed headrests as they showed two styles. In my original post I said bench, solid back w/fixed headrests. Although I've had this truck for over 15 years, until about 10 minutes ago I didn't realize there was a fold out arm rest in the seat back. I think this will make my search much easier. Kind of embarrassing and makes me wonder how, why...........

...I've had a Craftsman telescopic magnet pickup in my shop for over 10 years. SWhen I used it the oher day, I found out it has a light in the center of the pickup powered by 3 button batteries. It came in handy but I still haven't figured out how I've had it and used it for so many years without knowing about the light,
