Hi, I have a 2 gang box, containing 3 switches that is currently used in my bathroom. 1 switch is for 3 high hats, 1 is the fan, 1 is the shower light. I’m looking to put the fan and the shower light on a timer to avoid having the kids leave these on all day/night long.

In the 2 gang box, I have 4 lines, three of them are 2 wire and one is 3 wire (3 wire controls fan and shower light). The problem is I have no idea what the other lines are, where the power is coming from etc. I attached a picture to reflect the current wiring and the proposed wiring and am looking for help to ensure I am rewiring correctly. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Your diagram is too small to read,
but if I follow the line drawing it does appear correct.

Take the light and fan and combine them on the timer
output, power (which looks like top right pole on double switch)
goes to old existing swirch and timer 'in'.

Make sure the timer can handle the amperage (or wattage) of
both the fan and lamp.

Thanks very much Bill.

So the light and fan attach to the "line" and the power (which looks like top right pole on double switch) should attach to "load" ? FYI, the picture should once double clicked.

AHHHHHHHH, that's better! (why didn't I think to clik, oh well)

REVERSE the 'line' and 'load' connections on the timer switch

The top right of the double switch (black) is the 'line'
the left side (red and black ) are loads.
