Not sure if this is what's making the racket in the front of my 150, but was looking under there and noticed this. The first pic is as it sits (is that the control arm?), and the second photo is with me pushing it up to where it stops. It is the same on both sides. (Note my new pretty yellow shocks, which after much whining, I guess are OK)

Thanks again Bill, just called Advance, can't believe they get $40 'a piece' for 8" bolts with rubber cushions.

They must still make those in the USA.

Actually, all I need is the rubber.

Now that I check online, rubber bushings 'may be' all I am getting from Advance, as most sets of bushings (2 pieces) run around $20 with the shipping.

Oops, spoke to soon. From Auto Warehouse I can get a set of 8 bushings for $30-40.

You're looking at something wrong.....

$8 bux a side at advance......

The pair pictured above are 11.99 each = 24 bux for everything

Ask / look for "Sway bar link kit"

OK, I guess I'll have to stop at their store. Spoke to a girl there that seemed to know her stuff, told her I needed the sway bar bushings. She said $39 for each side, and only one of their 8 stores withing 30 miles had them in stock, which I thought was odd.

She actually used the word 'bushings', so I figured she was on track.

Now Advance apparently 'does' have some high end bushings ($20 for two)for my 150:

http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_Sway-Bar-Bushing-Kit-Moog_20516833-P_77_R|GRPCHASAMS_____

But I was going to order these:

http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/sku/Fo...ngs+Best+Seller

Although I was rather pick them up, and get them on asap.

As a side note, this is interesting. On the above link to Advance, it will not post as a live link. I even tried to remove the word 'shop', but when I reload it, the word 'shop' appears in the post review, but is not showing in my post box. So it is including the word even though I tell it not to.

Sway bar bushings are the rubber block bearings that attach the swaybar to the frame. Not visible in your shot. Grab the swaybar near a bushing on the frame (there are usually 2), and reef on'er. If it moves (clunk), the bushings are worn.

Sway bar links are the bolt with rubber bushings that attach the sway bar ends to the suspension arms. THose are what you need.

Girl at advance misunderstood you on the phone. All too easy. You need links, not bushings.

Thanks Jason, but the bolts and washers are still there. The only thing gone is a couple of the rubber bushings on each side. Any reason the bolt can't be re used?

They come as a kit. Like Bill said, it's under 20 for a pair in most cases. I don't recall seeing the bushings separately, though if you could find'em, I don't see why you couldn't reuse the "bolt".

I found the bushings, sold by themselves, 4 to a kit, pictured in the link I posted above for Auto Warehouse.
