"An agreement should be drawn up with all the participants listed on it". In a perfect world. LOL I would guess there's a chance for someone who was not in on a group ticket (if there was one) to come forward and say they were in on it. Get a lawyer and get a nuisance settlement. I'll guarantee you there were lawyers crawling all over that MacDonald's.

I used to join in these work lottery pool things, but what the organizer did was gather money, get the ticket or tickets and then make photocopies of the tickets and give to everyone involved. Every ticket is time stamped. They know exactly where and when it was bought. The lottery normally will request and keep the video footage of when it was bought.
