According to what I read she can't (or didn't) produce the ticket.

That one's going to be tied up for a while, LOL.

Some people sure can be horrible. If she did win from a pool why not share it? How much money does anyone need? confused

This one's a lawyer's dream come true (on both sides).

It will be interesting to watch.

I got a kick out of the TV coverage this AM. "An agreement should be drawn up with all the participants listed on it".

In a perfect world. LOL

I would guess there's a chance for someone who was not in on a group ticket (if there was one) to come forward and say they were in on it. Get a lawyer and get a nuisance settlement.

I'll guarantee you there were lawyers crawling all over that MacDonald's.

I heard about this a bit ago. I used to join in these work lottery pool things, but what the organizer did was gather money, get the ticket or tickets and then make photocopies of the tickets and give to everyone involved.

At least then you would have some proof you were involved.

Until someone makes copies of copies.

But I'm sure someone could come up with a simple system of documenting members of the pool.

Did they use a Toshiba copier?

If she had a ticket she probably gave it to her man to hold.

Now its probably gone.

Every ticket is time stamped.

They know exactly where and when it was bought.

The lottery normally will request and keep the video footage of when it was bought.

Nor sure if this is nation wide or just a NY thing.
