It's sad. All bus-as-usual and grimy.
The Tea Party coulda shot some goodness in,
but the short attention span wrecked the outsiders.
I didn't think it would come
to Newt and Romney.

Newt probably is the most intelligent of the Pac(k). He's a history prof. He should know better on moral issues however.

Looks like the election may shape up to be a race between bad and worse. I'll let you folks figure out who is what. Dare I ask why?

As for Teddy Roosevelt mentioned earlier on. He was a double edged sword. Just ask William Howard Taft. He (TR) was one of those fateful presidents like LBJ of late. We all know how good LBJ was as a leader...NOT!!!!!!!!!

I am serious. And note I said "intelligent". As others have mentioned, morals may be just a bit off however... And I certainly didn't say I liked him or thought he was "tops".

So it's mainly between Fig Newton and Mittens?

That's the best the GOP can do? Why can't they choose someone similar to Ron Paul, but without all the craziness? If they did find such a guy, I'd illegally vote for him over Obama.

Santorum seems like the sanest of the bunch, and the only proven conservative left. Mitt and Newt will both move left if they win the nomination. They have clear track records to indicate that.

Santorum is fringe right... teetering on the edge of radical right.

I just have a real problem with anyone who would vote for the leader of this nation because of his/her religious beliefs. Keep your dang beliefs in your own bedroom.

Yes he is, Boz is right, your religious beliefs should be private. (Guess I'm in a dream world on that one)
