27 degrees (actual 26.6) would give you 2:1 pitch.

If your table is 30" high they would be about 33.5" minus the thickness of the top (and any horizontal bracing underneath)

so for the 60 degree angle with a 2: rise to run, i would just cut them at a 27 degree angle? just verifying before i mess up some more cuts, lol

Here's a plan. It even has a plan for a "dolly" that lets you move it around easily.

edit: I'd use 3 in deck screws instead of nails and pre-drill the holes for the deck screws.

able dog, i checked out this plan, but went with the other one because they were using 2x6 s instead of all 2x4s, and ive already got everything done but the legs for this one. thank you though.

the only issue is that i dont understand the angle, when i cut all of them at 60 degree angles, if i attach the legs, my table is gonna be like 18 inches off the floor, lol.

Lay your legs (uncut) on the floor and spread them out as you would like them, then lay a couple of horizontal boards on top of the legs spaced to give you the table height you want. Measure in a couple places to make sure the horizontal boards are parallel.

Then scribe the angle on the top and bottom.

Legs should be equi-distant to a center line on the horizontal boards so they are the same angle.

Anon.....Your confusion relates to the fact that the angle
of the bottom of the legs is actually the INVERSE of the 60*

As Abe stated, laying the leg on the floor and marking the
angle at 60* (using the floor as the base of the angle)
will, in reality, give you a 30* angle on the legs when
you pick them up and stand them as 'legs'.

As you are measuring, and getting a WIDE SHORT leg, (LOL)
You should instead, use a 30* measurement.

SEE?
