CabinConnection Bigfoot Carpal Tunnel Registered: 01/20/04 Posts: 34367 Loc: The Indianhead's Left Nostril....	Not sure what the problem is you're having, but pretty much all saws are the same... Press a locking button (usually on the backside of the blade or somewhere on the motor shaft), then use a wrench to loosen/remove the hold-down nut/bolt. Obviously unplug the saw FIRST.

Was not sure if it was x threaded or not. It is hard to turn, but it does turn both ways. The shroud has two screws that are holding it on. I took those off, and there you go, came right off. Super "duh" moment. Laughing about it now...
