I see - so whats the deal with this? Seems like a flaw in how the thing was made? Never heard of an icemaker doing this before?

Icemakers aren't what they use to be
We have replaced ours twice for other problems.
Overflowing the bucket has been a common
trouble maker for many makes.

Ah...so they know about it? But aren't liable for making a crappy product? So is there anyway I can see this Service note that you have about that?

Jeff - finally getting back to this issue - I guess we've identified what I need from your earlier posts but I'm not sure I see how it attaches. Perhaps if I post a picture of the ice maker you may be able to explain it to me better?
