Seeing the absolute JOY brought to my bedridden for years, almost 92 year old Mom when I presented her with this balloon yesterday. She literally squealed with happiness when I walked in, and every few minutes during our visit she'd gaze at it and a HUGE smile would come across her face. This is not the first time I've brought her one of these... Each time it's a similar reaction, and when they finally lose buoyancy, she is sad and wants a replacement... Her joy is mine as well.

Had lots of fun, got very good service from Air Canada despite the ongoing labour disputes, but oh-so-nice to be home again! 10C was hard to take, however, after 10 days of 85F's... Half an hour inland, it gets to 85 fairly regularly, but we've got a cool micro-climate from the Bay of Fundy. Heat waves inland make foggy days for us. J _________________________ er, somethin'....
