There are times when I would hit the preview button, then get interupted by someone, turn to talk to them, forget what I was doing, and close the site down. Or,get interrupted by the phone or any of a dozen things. Then wonder what happened to my post the next time I went on line. I never posted it!!
Post your innocuous post again. I don't think it got deleted. I think you goofed!!!

Done that, hit the back button and wondered where that post went. I know it wasn't deleted by a mod because I never post anything that would be deleted by a mod.

I called him the most annoying man in America but I didn't wish him dead. A friend of mine just told me about it. He had no details

I am with you Dave. I couldn't stand his voice, but by no means did his dying enter my mind. A shame for sure.

I feel for his family--their being left is always sad.

Jack.

OHHHH!! THAT Conan. Wow,out of touch! Sorry!! DUHHHH!!!!!

Hey, you're in the best of company! Sometimes it is good to be out of touch!

I never even knew who he was until a couple months or so ago. Goes to show how much I watch TV!

BTW - I'll bet he colored his hair and his beard! I saw a photo of him on AOL.

Same age as Michael Jackson. Wondered if he colored his hair too?

Update: for those that don't already know, Billy died from heart failure according to the autopsy. There were no bruising or injury to his head, he had hypertensive heart disease, and according to the doctor, 25 to 30% of people who have this, their first symptom is death. I didn't mine the guy....sometimes his infomercials was the best thing on late night TV.
It was amazing to see just what some people would buy.

Mind.... that's mind not mine.

But seriously, you kidding when you say he was the best thing on TV, right.

I mean after 6 seconds you haven't realized there's actually NOTHING on TV.

I'm curious as to what compels people to not go to bed for sex or sleep or read a book or meditate or simply rest instead of watching this crap.... paradox, you should get re-programmed.

Thank you for the spelling lesson (I see the site has a spelling Nazi) As for late night TV watching, sometimes the hookers are too expensive at the hotels I stay at, so no sex. I usually have already read, meditated (prayed) and rested enough on the flight, so TV is a good way the doze off to sleep. I will check my positron memory banks to see if more suitable programming can be utilized.

the most annoying man in America

I shared that opinion for awhile.
However, after watching the Discovery's "Pitchmen", my opinion of him changed completely.
He was, I believe, just another guy doing what he able to to make a good living. Started pitching products years ago at flea markets and such, he got no free ride.
Once you got past the "infomercial" aspect, he seemed a genuine nice guy(like many here), a little quirky perhaps(like many here) and willing to help others find success.
Besides wife and grown son, he was father to a beautiful little three year old girl.
Hypertension is dangerous stuff.
