I just read a woodworking tip that suggested the use of Armorall to keep the table of your thickness planer slick. I'd be afraid to use that stuff on anything that I planned to put any kind of a finish on afterward. Myself, I've never used it on anything because I don't care to have the vinyl in my vehicle's interior look like Elvis's hair. I have a product I bought from Woodcaft called Topcote which states that it will not contaminate wood or interfere with any staining or finishing. It's expensive but I feel a lot safer using that than Armorall. Any opinions?
A kind thought unspoken is a terrible waste.
