Hi...

My dishwasher is leaving sediment on the bottom inside of our glasses. We've tried all the different types of detergents and even risnsing off the plates...still have the problem!

When you take the glass out, it looks like sand in the bottom, it's caked on from being dried...any solution to stop this from happening??

Lingan...

Sounds like your either using to much soap or the water is not hot enough.Use alittle less soap the next time and see if you have the same prob.Check the water temp after you machine fills for the wash the temp should be 120 or higher. Are you using a rinse aid (jet dry) maybe the rinse aid door is not opening

We had the EXACT same problem with our old maytag. What you gotta do is clean out the filter and the back flush arm. Also clean the wash arms (every little hole.) What brand dishwasher is this?

Clean the filter and then run the machine through a full cycle EMPTY.

The back flush arm must be cleaned also since it is what cleans the self clean filter. If it is clogged, then the filter gets plugged up again right away.
