Hi everybody!
I have a Sony Trinitron XBR television. Model KV-29XBR85, manufactured Jan 92.
Two things I need help with...
1) Where can I, get/buy/download/steal/etc and owners manual for this critter?? (Sony.com does NOT list it)
2) When watching DVDs I sometimes get a "jittery" picture. Some DVDs are fine, others are unviewable. The DVD worked FLAWLESSLY with my previous TV. Other sources, VCR & antenna, are CLEAR/SHARP!! I'm told an "S" cable could help.
Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Paul

Not sure about the manual. But try an svideo cable to clear up the picture. You don't need anything fancy.

If your going to buy an s-video cable you need to pick up a set of RCA cables as well . S-video only does video for sound you need the rca cables .

And don't plug in the yello cable. Just plug in the white and red RCA cables, then the svideo. Hopefully that will fix the jittery picture.

WOW! The "S" cable got rid of 99.999% of the jitter! It's not like an RF cable though. You must have the audio cables to have talkies. Plus the S cable has a better picture too.
Now if I can just find an owners manual for the Trinitron.
