I have gotten myself into a job of spreading 10-12 yards of mulch.
I found an article that said it take about 1.2 hours to spread one yeard of mulch. This seems high. I offered the guy a fee based on no more than 10 hours and closer to 8 based on my old body surviving. In one of his e-mails he said, "it is alot of mulch."
That has me worried.
Can anyone show me a photo of one yard of mulch.

....ok, the home owner gave me an idea. He said 10-12 yards would be a full 10 wheel dump truck full.

get your yardstick out and draw a square on the ground 3'wide by 3'wide. then hold it on end to get 3' high. that is a yard of mulch. think of it like this 35" by 36" by 36". if you were spreading it a foot thick, you'd be 3' wide by 9' long6" thick would bd 6'wide by 9' long. but mulch is real light and easy spreading!

I have done 8 before without much effort. Usually do 3/4 every year as a top coat.
