I have a digital auto thermostate. In the heating season it's set at 68 deg and programmed down to 60 deg overnight.

Course that was for last year, this year it'll be lower (65/55) and I'll be in my basement more which is heated with my fireplace which has a blower.

Hi all. For the last three years, mine has been 66 day, and 55 after 11:00 p.m.

I also use the programable thermostat. Can't beat em. Never have to worry about forgetting, and furnace will come on early if you want it set that way.

Jack.

75 in the summer and 68 in the winter.

I tried one of those set back thermostats, but since I have a heat pump with electric backup, setting back the temperature at night does nothing other than raise the electric bill.

Still, not complaining, because last year my electric bill was less than just the gas bill of comparable houses in the area heated with natural gas.

22-23C---71-73F all the time for the winter. About 20C---68F in the summer (A/C).
I'm not sure why our house was designed the way it was, but we have 2 furnaces and the one dedicated to the upstairs almost never turns on unless it's -20 or colder out.

Mrs. JB says cold and colder, but she is the one that opens the windows at night, usually 65/58

Bout 68/70 in the day time. Night time goes down to 63/65. Hope to use more wood this year and save on my oil. I guess we will all find out when winter does arrive.
