I'm happy I saw it again.
A wonderful story put to film.

This was far better than I thought it would be. Basically it's a story of a "one hit wonder" band and what happens to them before, during and after their song tops the Billboard Charts in the early 60's.

This was Tom Hanks baby and it was really well done.

Definately worth renting. Fine for the whole family for it's harmless.

Watched this last night, I thought it was great entertainment. I really had to pay attention to it though in order to know what the heck was going on as there are alot of twist and turns. Also alot of suttle humor that's very well done.

Nicole Kidaman.

Interesting plot but moved very slow.
There was even a scene of a 30 second close up of Nicole. Kidman. A bit wierd.
A little of the musical theme from 2010.
Long drawn out scenes with orchestra background music.

But the plot was intruiging enough to stick with it.

A story about a woman who loses her husband, but he is reincarnated, and searches her out when he was 10.

Don't watch tired.....you will never make it.

I saw this movie years ago when it first came out. It's just as good today as it was back then. It was written by Chaz Palmentieri and directed by Robert Di Nero. Both star in it as well.

It's about a boy coming of age in the Bronx in the 60's. His father is a bus driver and he is trying really hard to keep his son away from the Mob who hangs out just two doors down. The lure is so great.

This is one that is definately worth renting if you haven't already seen it. Or you can be like me and see it again.

Definately worth viewing more than once.

We just saw it. After it was over I couldn't stop talking about how good it was. I agree that Cuba should have won an oscar for it and Ed Harris was as usual, very good. It was nice to see Debra Winger again.

Me too...however I thought Russell Crowe in "A Beautiful Mind" was a no brainer!

Well...what do I say about this movie. First - it was based on a true story.

Early 70's, Nixon is in his 2nd term. A man in Baltimore (Sean Penn) is having a tough time with life, society and people in general.

His marriage has fallen apart, he keeps losing jobs and is just trying to find his place in the world.

He decides he is going to "be remembered". He makes an audio journal and sends it to the conductor Leonard Bernstein. Then he boards a plane and wants them to fly really low into the White House. Hmmm....sound familiar?

Sean Penn did a really good job but the movie was really slow going and pretty depressing.

I know that this one has probably been reviewed before but I didn't want to go back 19 pages to find it!

I thought it was good...not great.

Basic premise, as I'm sure you know, is that a guy is stuck in a airport terminal because he is caught in between countries.

He is be friended by everyone who works at the airport as well as flight attendant Catherine Zeta-Jones.

It was definately worth renting.
